Data Deletion
Data Deletion Request
How to ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you.
Your right to deletion
You can ask Austriq to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, this is your right to erasure under Article 17. This page explains what we hold and how to make a request.
What data we may hold
- Enquiry correspondence you send us through the contact form or by email, such as your name, email address, and message.
- Account or access information used to enter any gated project area, where applicable.
- Standard technical logs recorded by our hosting provider, such as IP address and request data.
For full detail on what we collect and why, see the Privacy Policy.
How to request deletion
Email hello@austriq.comwith the subject line “Data deletion request” and include:
- the email address or other identifier you used when contacting us; and
- a brief description of the data you want deleted, if you know it.
We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, so that we do not delete or disclose data to the wrong person.
What happens next
We will acknowledge your request and aim to complete it within 30 days. We will delete the personal data we hold about you, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain certain records — for example to meet accounting or legal obligations. Where we cannot delete specific data, we will tell you why.
Connected services
If you reached us through a third-party platform, you can usually also manage or remove the connection from within that platform's settings. Removing the connection there does not by itself delete data already held by Austriq, so please also send us a request using the steps above.
Contact
Questions about deleting your data can be sent to hello@austriq.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
